Canadian experimental powerhouse New Age Doom breaks new ground in their first-ever live collaboration with Norwegian indie artist Tuvaband (Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser), following their critically-acclaimed 2023 collab record “THERE IS NO END.” The project shows New Age Doom evolve toward a more melodic direction while staying true to their signature heaviness and freewheeling chaos. Pitchfork celebrated the album as “sophisticated, dramatic, and emotionally layered,” while Mojo’s four-star review hailed it as “a mix of dark folk, drone, deep dub and free jazz… a multi-layered triumph.” Tuva’s ice-edged vocals elevate the duo’s high-powered live sound across genres ranging from progressive rock and drone metal to post-rock, dub, and punk.
